Torrance-based CPA Hiroshi Ishigami to Appear on National TV Shows
Over Allegation of Unauthorized Use of Credit Cards.
Over Allegation of Unauthorized Use of Credit Cards.
Does the California Board of Accountancy have a role in this matter?
Media channels of various outreaches, including the nationally- syndicated court TV program, “Judge Judy” have indicated interest in the case involving a Torrance-based accountant and principal partner in the firm of Ishigami, Ishigami & Ochi LLP.
The case was originally filed at (Torrance) Los Angeles Superior Court, by one of the wives from whom Ishigami recently separated. South Bay Court News also gathered that an intern working at the Ishigami’s firm has been issued a subpoena to appear as a witness in the case.
Investigations indicate that journalists from various independent media as well as civil/human rights groups have requested to interview the plaintiff in this matter. One of the community group representatives said that the case “...allegedly contains elements of gross domestic abuse, brute chauvinism and flagrant human rights violations in the way that Ishigami obtained the use of the credit cards.”
SouthBay Court News also gathered that students from universities and college campuses, particularly members of the Japanese students clubs (from which the accountancy firm recruits interns) have been invited to attend the court session on July 26th. (Venue and time for the
court is detailed below). Some accountants and business organizations in the South Bay are also, reportedly, interested in attending the hearing.
